2011 IN REGGIO EMILIA, THE FIRST PISTON AND FLYWHEEL OPERATED CLOCK IN THE WORLD IS DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED, AN IN INNOVATION IN THE FIELD OF CLOCK MAKING.
1493 in Reggio Emilia. Giancarlo Raineri designed and manufactured a clock with unique technical and aesthetic contents. The Serenissima Republic of Venice commissiones Mr Raineri the construction of an amazing time tracking machine that will later become the clock in the “Torre dei Mori”.
Since then, the clock of the “Torre dei Mori” has been visible in all its beauty and has represented the genius of the mechanical artists of Emilia Region.
2011 in Reggio Emilia. Renato Rinaldi designs and manufactures a clock with unique aesthetic and technical characteristics. Interest was so high that in 2012, under the brand name VOLANUS, a small workshop of artisans starts the manufacturing of these piston and flywheel operated clocks.
